    Know what to look for

Small warning signs can reveal a bigger problem.

Houston heat, wind and rain are hard on exterior systems. If something looks different, it is worth understanding why.

    A real moisture-intrusion repair

What you can't see can become the costly part.

Water entered around this home's exterior openings. Once the finish came off, the team found damaged sheathing and rebuilt the affected areas before restoring the exterior.

    Cracks that keep returning

Visible cracks may point to movement, failed sealant or water getting behind the finish.

    02

    Stains or discoloration

Dark spots, streaking and efflorescence can be early signs of trapped moisture.

    03

    Leaks near openings

Windows, doors, balconies and roof transitions are common water-entry points.

    04

    Soft or bulging stucco

Loose, swollen or hollow-sounding areas deserve a closer look before they spread.

The right repair starts with the right diagnosis

We inspect. We diagnose. We solve.

Not all stucco damage is visible, and not all leaks begin where the water appears. Our team looks at the full exterior system so the recommendation addresses the source, not just the symptom.

    • Targeted evaluation of stucco, windows, flashing, sealants and transitions
    • Straightforward findings with a practical explanation of what we see
    • Repair options built around the property, the materials and Houston’s climate
    • Experienced execution by a team trusted in Houston since 1979

    Common questions

What homeowners ask before an inspection.

Still unsure what you need? Call us and describe what you are seeing.

    281-575-8981
How do I know if I have a stucco leak?

Recurring cracks, stains, soft areas, musty odors and moisture near windows can all be warning signs. An inspection helps determine whether the issue is surface-level or part of a larger water-entry problem.

Can you match my existing stucco finish and color?

Often, yes. The final match depends on the age, texture and condition of the existing finish. We evaluate those details before recommending the repair approach.

Do you inspect and repair EIFS?

Yes. Monolite works with both traditional stucco and EIFS systems, including moisture-related repairs around windows, balconies, transitions and penetrations.

    Do you only handle stucco?

No. Monolite also handles exterior painting, waterproofing, roofing, balconies, decks and other exterior scopes. This page focuses on stucco because water intrusion is one of the most urgent problems we solve.

What happens after I request an inspection?

A Monolite specialist will contact you to learn more, confirm the property location and arrange the most appropriate next step.
